William Keepin: The Inner Science of Divine Love

We are pleased to announce a cover story in Om Times magazine published earlier this month about William Keepin’s work on the inner science of divine love (below). The interview with Will outlines the the inner journey of the heart, and the universal path of divine love that is found across the major spiritual traditions of the world.  As Will says, it is a great irony that our culture is so enamored with the love of science, yet has failed to develop a genuine science of love.  Certain breakthroughs at the cutting edge of contemporary science help to shed light on this ‘inner science’ of love.

International Conference near San Jose Promotes Harmony between World Religions

“There will be no peace among nations without peace among religions,” proclaims theologian Hans Küng.  Spiritual leaders and seekers from around the world are gathering outside San Jose, Costa Rica for an international conference entitled Dawn of InterSpirituality in Latin America, March 12 – 16, 2018 in Birri, Heredia.  Featured presenters are dedicated to building bridges of harmony and collaboration across the world religions, including: Buddhist master Jetsunma Tenzin Palmo from India, Secretary General Mads Christoffersen of the National Council of Churches in Denmark, Catholic nun and human rights activist Sr. Lucy Kurien from India, Hindu master Swami Atmarupananda from the USA, Muslim interfaith leader Radwa Salah from Lebanon, the Bishop of California Marc Andrus from Grace Cathedral in San Francisco, Shaykah Amina al-Yerráhi of Mexico, indigenous Shaman Alberto Taxo from Ecuador, and Mayan healer Abuela Margarita from Mexico.

The conference also highlights top interfaith leaders from South America and North America who actively promote peace and cooperation between the Abrahamic religions (Judaism, Christianity, and Islam), and are meeting for the first time at this conference. These include Fr. Giuermillo Marco, Rabbi Daniel Goldman, and Dip. Omar Abboud of the Institute for Interreligious Dialogue in Buenos Aires, all of whom collaborate closely with Pope Francis to foster interfaith dialogue and harmony; and Imam Jamal Rahman and Rabbi Ted Falcon from the Interfaith Community Sanctuary in Seattle, USA.

“We chose Costa Rica for this conference because of its long-standing commitment to peace, its geographical position at the center of the Americas, and its exquisite natural beauty and commitment to ecology,” said conference organizers Dr. William Keepin and Rev. Cynthia Brix of the U.S.-based Satyana Institute. “Most people are surprised and inspired to discover that the remarkable differences between world religions are utterly dwarfed by their far more remarkable common ground. This forms the spiritual and moral foundation for profound peace across the cultures of the world, something more important today than ever.”

This conference is bilingual (Spanish and English) and is open to the general public. For more information, please visit www.dawnofinterspirituality.org.
